Around 120 people gathered at Ballina's cenotaph to honour Vietnam veterans and their families on the 60th anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan, according to Ballina News Daily. The gathering marked six decades since the significant battle and provided an opportunity for the community to remember the courage and sacrifice of those who served.
