Mullumbimby held a commemorative service on 18 August to remember 60,000 Australians who served during the Vietnam War between 1962 and 1975, with the ceremony held at the local cenotaph, The Echo reports.
In a separate development, The Echo reports that a temporary dirt pile containing approximately 8,000 cubic metres of material at Tallowood Ridge Estate in Mullumbimby may become permanent following a new application lodged with Byron Council.
